The fantasticar!!

Yup, it looks niiiiiice. Hey, I did enjoy the first movie (please don't throw rocks at me). Yes, it could have been MUCH MUCH MUCH better, but at least it was entertaining and not pretentious as Superman Returns. Plus they got right the relationship between Johnny and Ben, and that my dear sinners, makes bearable anything else. Anyway, I still have hopes in FF2. Let's keep our fingers crossed. Again.

10 seconds! 10 seconds!

Less than 10 seconds of the new HARRY POTTER traileeeeeer! Ooooh this is going to be good. The kids are all grown up, ready to fight Voldemort. Even though this is not one of my favorite HP books, I can't wait to see the scenes with Alan Rickman, Gary Oldman and David Thewlis. And the fight at the end of the book?! Priceless. Oh yeah, things are darker for Harry... =)

Patience sinners, He's coming...

Hail Bond! Just a couple of days 'till we see Casino Royale. In the meantime, rejoice watching all the trailers of every Bond movie ever made in the last 45 years.

Not enough? Check these lists of the best and worst Bond girls over the years. Personally, I don't agree with some of their choices, such as Carey Lowell, aka Pam Bouvier (License to kill) as one of the 10 worst. She could fight, shoot a gun, fly a plane, and she even saved Bond a couple of times. What's not cool about that? On the other hand, Tanya Roberts aka Stacey Sutton (From a view to a kill) surely deserves to be no. 1 as the WORST and most annoying Bond girl EVER. Totally useless.

And what about the 10 best Bond girls? Michelle Yeoh aka Wai Lin (Tomorrow Never dies), Carol Bouquet aka Melina Havelock (For your eyes only) and Famke Jansen aka Xenia Onatopp (Goldeneye) definitely should be on the top 5... Yeah, I love Bond girls that are not just damsels in distress. So, sue me.

Anyway, have fun watching that, plus all the extras you can find...
Soon the wait will be over. Hold on sinners, Bond is coming soon.

My future husband and bandmate

Mr. Marshmallow's very own pic of Eddie Vedder, at last night's concert. Yeaaaaah!

Lazy Sunday morning...

Ms. Mysterious' just woke up after watching last time an AWESOME Pearl Jam concert (the second one in a year, since last November I saw them back in Mexico), so I'll be a Ms. Mysterious of few words today:

- As you probably know, the new Spiderman 3 trailer's out. Looks promising...
- Jack Palance died. Creepy dude, rest in peace.
- The next Superman movie will be called: Superman: the Man of Steel. No, I'm not eager to watch it after the Returns fiasco.
- Saw Flags of our Fathers the other day, and even though I love Clint Eastwood and the movie has some really amazing scenes (it's impossible not to be touched by the last scene on the beach), I got to say that the film doesn't cut it. Amongst my complaints, the main ones lay on the edition, which is inconsistent at times, and in the story, which doesn't lead you where it should... Anyway, watch it and decide for yourselves.

Aaaand... ahm.. that's it. I'm to tired to think of anything else. Oh and one last thing: I'm thinking of changing my name to Mrs. Vedder... What do you think about that?

23 bottles of beer on the wall (8)

Jim Carrey should really consider stop doing all those crappy comedy movies and do some serious stuff. For me his best works have been The Truman show, The majestic and Eternal Sunshine of the spotless mind. His next movie is The number 23, and by the look of it, it might be one of those cool Carrey movies. Watch the creepy trailer!

You know his name...

Bond, my dear sinners. Watch the new video, with Chris Cornell's song, "You know my name"
I'm still a little undecided whether I like this song or not. It's not the best Bond song, yet is not the worst. I would have used more metals to emphasize the classic Bond theme, but that's just me. Yup, I'm a sucker for Bond. Anyway, can't wait to see the mooovieeeee! Bond Bond Bond!

Wii came, Wii saw, Wii kicked some a$$!

Ms. Mysterious reporting from Down Under. It was a dark night, and Mr. Marshmallow and I were on a secret quest; to be the first in Brisbane to play the new Nintendo Wii. We arrived to the secret location, where there were other 35 lucky bastards, just waiting for the moment we would all be lead to the magic room...
Finally the wait was over. We signed some papers promising we wouldn't take pictures or video, we sold our souls, and arrived to a room with 8 Wii consoles. It was time to play! Our first game was Wario Warez: Smooth Moves, and it was the perfect way to start. The game it's really silly (but it's one of those games that will be awesome to play when everyone's drunk at a party- sadly not me), anyway what was impressive was the way the remote (wiimote!) responded. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.
So, to make the story short, we played from Tennis, Bowling (from Wii Sports). Air Hockey and Duck Hunt (Wii Play), and Excite Truck, Zelda and Wario Warez. The one that I like the most was Tennis. It's sooo much fun. Yeah yeah, I know Zelda rules, but you're talking to someone that's never finished a game. EVER.
In all Nintendo gave us a fun night, filled with games and yummi food. I would have liked a t-shirt that said "I played Wii and you haven't", but I guess I can live without having one. Thaaaanks Nintendooooooo. Can I have my Wii now? Wii sports and wii music? Pleeeease?
