Google Calendar

I must have this! :)

Google Calendar: "In combination with the kit, you can receive a new type of notification from Google Calendar, called the 'wake up' notification. This notification is relentless in ensuring your timely awakening from restful slumber.

The 'wake up' notification uses several progressively more annoying alerts to wake you up. First it will send an SMS message to your phone. If that fails, more coercive means will be used. The kit includes an industrial-sized bucket and is designed to be connected to your water main for automatic filling. In addition, a bed-flipping device is included for forceful removal from your sleeping quarters. Learn more"

There's still hope in this world!

Nowadays, with all the craziness that's happening in my life, there are just a couple of special things that make me come back to my humble little blog. THIS is one of those special things. A TV spot for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Nope, is not the teaser, which I think it sucked big time. The teaser almost made me lost my freedom and made me want to curse Spielberg and Lucas (and cursing Spielberg is something I've never done). But this... this little TV spot. Just a couple of seconds to restore the magic and the belief that someone as F**ing COOL and AWESOME as Indiana Jones is still around. In case you haven't seen it, rejoice with it now. May your lives be filled with hope. Amen.

How many times can one return from the grave?

I'm not dead. At least not yet. It's been months and months since I last wrote, and to be honest, even though I didn't have much time, I made quite a difference. Does anyone even reads this? Who knows. Yet, I still don't know if I write it for myself or for the world. (I guess that if it was just for myself I would buy a diary with Hello Kitty on the cover and get done with it). Who knows why we act the way we act. Anyway, the question is, what is so important that is making me write again.
Maybe it was pride. Mr. Marshmallow was just saying that this blog was officially dead.
I hate when it's not ME who decides when something's dead or not (in this case, my blog).

Do I make any sense at all? Probably not.

ANYWAY, in short, what has made me write again? The fact that I just saw Justice League: the new frontier, and it totally kicks ass. Why? Because it's just like the comic book. Oh, if only people would learn from that. (yeah, Death of Superman made me cry- but not in a good way).

The other reason would be the new poster for James Bond's next movie: Quantum of solace. I love it. Yeah, after all these years Bond still rules.

And last, but not least, I'm way way way excited about the new Indy movie. And the teaser that will be out next week (Feb 14th). I trust Spielberg... I know he won't disappoint me. He won't destroy my hero.

Yet, it seems like a sensible idea to start building a bazooka, just in case.

Besides that, all quiet on the front. I'm still as confused and clueless about life as always, exhausted, and I often wonder if I'll even get that peace of mind which I had so long ago, when things seemed more simple.

Who knows, right? As they say, only time will tell.

Let us pray, sinners!

What would make Ms. Mysterious come back from death? What would make your humble, yet magnificent leader stop enjoying her days of leisure? Well, duh, of course these two pictures. Watching Harrison Ford, all dressed up as Indy, watching Heath Ledger being a psycho, creepy Joker, just as it should be, brings a tear to my eye. *sob*. Life's good sometimes. I'll keep on praying every night though, pray 'till I have no strength left, till they hear me all the way to the heavens... You can all join me. *ahem* Please God, don't let Spielberg pull a Lucas with Indy 4. Don't destroy my heroes once more. Amen. Oh and don't let the Joker destroy with a stupid gun the batplane. It just doesn't make sense. Give him a missile next time. Double amen.

Ollie is getting married!

(this won't make a lick of sense to pretty much anyone, but I'm sure that she'll explain)

Have you ever danced with the devil by tge pale moon light?

Be scared, my dear sinners, be very scared... Here's another pic of Heath Ledger as the Joker. The dude sure looks creepy. Watch more pictures from The Dark Knight here.

Sydney, beautiful Sydney

Is it August already? Damn, time flies when you're having fun. Okay, here's my life so far: I moved to Sydney, lived for almost two weeks in a (funky?) hostel, spent days and days searching for an apartment with Mr. Marshmallow, 'till we finally got one. On Saturday we survived the IKEA distortion field, got a couple of things (within our limited budget), enough for our little apartment. I guess we'll soon be able to call it home. =)
Film School is getting better and better everyday. On the other hand, work is... work ha ha. I prefer to be a student - as long as I'm learning something I like and I don't have boring teachers.. (Damn you Documentary subject!!!).
I haven't exercised in a month, which sucks, but I've been so busy that I guess it's forgivable for the time being. Same thing about Shiva, I haven't been playing as much as I want to. I'll have to do something about that. Maybe sell my body in exchange for guitar lessons? ...Anyone?

So yeah, I'm totally psyched with what life in Sydney has been so far. The last year and a half it's a blur. I guess is my self preservation system which is telling me to forget crappy Brisbane haha.

Ta!

P.S. Oh, and I can't help but being TOTALLY exited by the possible titles for the new Indiana Jones flick. Check them out here.
And damn.. I just read that David Tennant might leave Doctor Who to join play Hamlet on stage? DAMN
And last but not least, sequel of the Lost Boys starts filming next week with the original cast? Yes I'm talking about the Coreys.. Yup. The world is going to hell..
